About Me

I am a Rock drummer from Turin, Italy, but naturalized in the USA. I decided I really had to follow my dream and took off to a new adventure in New York to study at the Collective School of Music. I took additional drum shops lead by Greg Bissonette and Gavin Harrison. I also took some private lessons with Marco Minnemann. The USA gave me the opportunity to meet the biggest Rock Stars of the metal world, just to name a few: Lemmy of Motörhead, Dokken and Cinderella.I met Ray Luzier (Korn) and Mikkey Dee ( Motorhead) in person, in 1999. Meeting them was extremely inspiring to me and it also encouraged me to go on and pursue my professional drumming career as a profession, with all the passion I had. 

In 2004 while in New York, Luca recorded with songwriter Lenny Isis and rock band Arrowood at Sterling Sound Studio with Ted Jensen, one of the world's most successful mastering engineer. I had a great experience playing with world famous guitar player Kee Marcello of the band Europe. I am a true rocker at heart but nevertheless I have embraced quite a few different types of playing experiences, especially in Italy where I played with artists such as: Raoul Casadei's orchestra. In addition, he has played for famous Italian Pop Artists such as Little Tony, Grazia di Michele, and Danilo Amerio, and Italian symphonic rock metal band MATERDEA. As of 2014, I moved to the USA in LA where I played with numerous bands and had the luck to meet artists such as: Dave Lombardo (Slayer), James Donald Root (Slipknot and Stone Sour).

In 2015 I moved from LA to Nashville and I won the Drum Off competition organized by the Guitar center in Nashville, and I participated in the NAMM ( World's first drummer competition) in Nashville, where I got a great ranking and met the official organizer Boo McFee. All in all I played in about 200 live gigs and various festivals like COMICPALOOZA in Houston, Texas. Later that year, I got the chance to play and tour throughout the Northern states, with a leading Country covers band from Wisconsin and later I got another opportunity to tour with the band Pagan, around the rest of the US. In 2017 I was Tour Manager & Drum tech. for Italian band Methedras on their Northern American & Canadian tour. 

The year 2018 marked a giant leap in my professional experiences when I was asked to replace Halcyon way's drummer ( due to a sudden injury ) and got the chance to go on tour and open for Metal church, where I met and shared stage with Stet Howland (WASP Metal charge), who praised me for my playing skills and techniques. The year 2019 marked a great turning point for my professional career as I joined the supporting band for all time world famous rock band KISS. I shared the stage also with Steve Adler of Guns and Roses, Bruce Kulick, Warrant & The darkness. Throughout my career I played in rather popular tribute bands to: EUROPE, IRON MAIDEN, AC/DC & WHITESNAKE.I have been sponsoring DRUMEZE Drum Grips since 2016.
